This combination of rose, neroli and frankincense makes for the perfect after sun summertime cream. Add this to some light but nourishing apricot kernal oil and you’ve got a whole lot of skin loving going on!

Cooling, anti-inflammatory (if you were in the sun for a touch too long), anti-wrinkle and nourishing; it’s also fun to make.

Here’s how:

6g beeswax
30mls rosewater
30mls apricot kernal oil component
2 drops neroli essential oil
2 drops frankincense essential oil

  1. Gently melt the apricot kernal oil and beeswax in one pyrex jug and bring the rosewater to the same temperature in another pyrex jug. I do this by standing both pyrex jugs in a frying pan of water (don’t heat oils directly on the stove as they’re highly flammable).
  2. When the beeswax has melted, remove from the heat and whisk the rosewater into the oil.
  3. When it resembles the texture of a stiff egg white add your essential oils and whisk in.
  4. Pour into your sterilised jars.
